Saturday Morning Climb

Now that the Saturday rides are in full swing we're going to mix it up and send everybody up Hamaker Mountain. This is a bonefide climb - 2500 feet of sustained climbing and expect to end the day around 3400 feet total gain. We will re-group at the top and plan to ride to and from the mountain in a tempo pace-line.

This is an out and back route. See the GPS and other info here. This normally takes just shy of the three hour mark which is on the longer side for the Saturday ride, so expect to leave right on time and the shop employees to turn around early if things are taking longer than normal. They need to get back to open the shop at 11.  Expect to finish the ride alone or in small groups if things don't go to schedule but since it's an out and back ride this is pretty feasible for somebody new to the route.

Lilly will be leading an intermediate paced ride on this day. If you want to start out with the fast group then fall back to the intermediate group that's a great way to push yourself. Please email ( her if you plan on attending this pace as she may do her own ride if attendance wanes.

Please bring water, flat kits and lights (remember: a helmet might reduce your chance of injury, but a rear blinky light will prevent a crash all-together). Also Make sure you know the route well enough to get home.
