This is the weekly advanced and intermediate pace road ride which will be leaving from Zach's Bikes.
Our typical route will be to do loops at the Running Y, getting there and returning on Lakeshore Ave. with a finish at the shop We have mixed up the route in the past (and plan on mixing it up in the future) and have even thrown in a Hawaiian shirt night.
*Note* This used to be the Tuesday night ride but due to ZBikes hours and our employees strong inclination to attend this ride we are moving it to Monday nights.
Expect an average of 19mph for the advanced group. The intermediate group averages 15-17mph. Our normal route is designed in such a way that we stop (or slow down) to regroup several times throughout the ride (as we complete loops). The intermediate group is a "no-drop" ride. Please bring water, flat kits and lights (remember: a helmet might reduce your chance of injury, but a rear blinky light will prevent a crash all-together). Have fun and stay safe
