Mountain biking is an energizing and liberating sport. But it can be intimidating sometimes. Are you ready to tackle those fears in a supportive environment helping you along the way? This is a beginner focused women’s only mountain bike. Before we start the ride, we will have a short clinic, that will help you build the skills to develop confidence without feeling pressured. Learn techniques such as taming tight corners, safely braking, and floating over rough terrain. Then enjoy riding with the group on our amazing trails to give you the opportunity to hone the skills that you have learned. We will be riding on the green (easy) trails at Spence mountain. The is the perfect ride to join if you have been curious to try mountain biking for the first time, or just to join a fun and easy paced ride with like-minded gals. One should be comfortable with riding for about an hour. Don’t have a mountain bike? Don’t let that stop you. We have demo mountain bikes to use, free of charge, based on availability; so, call ahead to reserve. Helmets required, remember water and a snack to keep you fueled!
